The first in our series of planned maintenance Saturdays has been completed as scheduled. As expected, there were no issues of downtime. The next planned maintenance is Saturday, March 12th. Check back for updates.

The first in our series of planned maintenance Saturdays is being rescheduled and is tentatively planned for February 19th at 11 pm Eastern (8 pm Pacific). Once this date is confirmed, this Network News will be updated accordingly.

ORIGINAL POST:

A planned maintenance of our hardware systems in our data centers will take place across three Saturdays – February 12th, March 12, and March 19th – during the time windows of 10 am – 8 pm Eastern (7 am – 5 pm Pacific). During this time period no control panel or service downtime is expected, however, brief periods of connectivity issues may occur.

This maintenance notification will be updated after each planned period with any pertinent information. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

RESOLVED: Intermittent Outage, Saturday, 03/12/22

RESOLVED (2 pm Eastern):

Resolution details: At 10:30 am Eastern, during our planned network maintenance, a failed reroute of our IP addresses led to an intermittent outage of all hosted services for a subset of customers.

At this time, the reroute issue has been resolved and all portals and services are back up and running. Emails that were received during this time are in queue and should be arriving to mailboxes shortly as the system processes through them.

UPDATE (12 pm Eastern):
Our data center team continues to work through the outage and anticipate a resolution by 2 pm eastern.  Our Engineering team is working on alternative solutions to try a bring an earlier resolution.

ORIGINAL POST:

Today’s communicated network maintenance period is underway and we are seeing brief interruptions of hosted services including our Control Panel, Exchange 2013, Webroot, and Secret Double Octopus for some sets of customers. Our team at the data center are making adjustments to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Planned Maintenance: SDO Database Upgrades, Sunday, 01/02/22, 4:00 am Eastern (1:00 am Pacific)

Secret Double Octopus will be performing a planned routine database upgrade on their systems to ensure the service is running as performant as possible. This maintenance is expected to take no longer than one hour, during which user authentication will not be affected. However, during this period, users enrolling new devices or new users registering for the first time may be impacted.

COMPLETED: SpamTitan Spam Filter Update – Monday, 12/20/21, 2:00 am Eastern (11:00 pm 12/19/21 Pacific)

UPDATE:

The planned update has been completed.

ORIGINAL POST:

There will be an update to the software on the SpamTitan spam filtering systems on Monday, 12/20/21, at 2:00 am Eastern (11:00 pm 12/19/21 Pacific). This update will provide a more comprehensive spam filtering process, including geoblocking functionality, and enhanced functionality of associated components. The spam filtering system is fully redundant and each system will be updated individually.

There is no expected interruption of either inbound or outbound mail flow during this update.

Accounts using Reflexion, Office 365 Exchange Online Protection, or third-party spam filters will not be affected.

UPDATE:

The access to the 2.0 control panel has been restored. Our engineering team will continue to monitor to confirm the situation has been resolved in full.

2.0 control panel access is currently unavailable. The hosts that allow for access are currently offline. We are in contact with our data center to bring the affected servers back online. This affects only control panel access and does not affect service functionality.

This update will expand SDO audit logs to notate the difference between enabling and disabling bypass modes on a user and include username-based entries for Workstation logins. There may be a short period during which control panel access may be unavailable. The downtime is expected to be no more than 30 minutes. No services will be affected.
