General Notification: DDoS Attack Bandwidth.com

A major nationwide communications provider (Bandwidth.com) is under a targeted Denial of Service attack that may affect the functionality of our own phone systems. If you have any issues getting through to our team members live, please submit your query via ticketed request (email to support@) and our reps will respond to you as quickly as possible.

Bandwidth is the backbone for most major communications companies from Microsoft Teams to Google Voice and smaller carriers in between. Upwards of 40% of the US’s service providers rely on Bandwidth.com for their voice and other services. At this time, the exact nature and identity of the attacker is not known; nor are their motives. Bandwidth is currently doing everything in their power to mitigate the DDoS attack as well as working with authorities. You can keep up-to-date on their status at https://status.bandwidth.com

ORIGINAL POST:
Our engineering team has discovered that new Microsoft 365 signups are currently failing in the 2.0 platform due to a non-communicated change from Microsoft in the address validation process. Our development team has released a fix which is currently being tested in our preproduction environment. This release is anticipated to be placed into production following confirmation of successful testing.
This affects new MS365 signups only and does not affect current MS365 customers. We will post an update to this Network News as soon as it is available. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our support team.
